Alternator ?

Alright guys I am going to be doing the big 3 as I have already posted and I will be dropping in a Kinetic HC1400.. I also was thinking about upgrading the alternator too. I will be pushing only around 1500RMS but would rather be on the safe side that way I dont break down in the middle of the city and have to get a tow.

So my question is what kind of output should I be looking for in a new alternator ?

more idle amps at engine idle is the way to go. Look into Dc Power

Ok thanks for the input.. The only reason I ask is cause oem alternator is like 136amps and I was gona put in a 160..

if you can find one for your truck, I really like Bosch, they seem to hold up really well, but be prepared to pay a little more
