Alternator

so i called up Genco

and asked him how much a 250AMP alternator would be for my 98 chevy silverado v8 truck

he said around 600$ he asked if i wanted a exact price he can make some calls and give me a exact price,

anyone have any suggestions

Call someone else would be my suggestion.

That same amperage output from another source (Excessive Amperage, Ohio Generator, Mean Green, Iraggi, etc) shouldn't run more than $300 or so???
