Alternator White In DVD Player

I have a portable DVD player in my S-10 that I have hooked up to my AUX port on my head unit, its a RFX9220G, I am picking up alternator whine on my DVD player only, the radio, MP3 player, and CD player work fine. I have 2 amps hooked up a 900W Rockford for my 10's and a 100 x 2 Memphis for my PBX tweeters and door panel speakers. I am running the DVD player off of my cigarette ligher, any ideas on how to get the whine to leave?

RE GROUND.

yeah i have had this same thing with my cube. u can re ground but might not help. It si the cigerett lighter, that ground is not good enough. Or there is an othere solution u can ground the dvd player to the car. But i dought u will wnat to do that seeing as it just a temp thing.

I had a guy from one of the local car audio shops tell me if I grounded my RCA's to the chasis that would work, ever heard of that? On a cigarette ligher is the tip or the sides the negative? How big of a gauge of wire should I use??
