So I just finished installing 4 6.5" kicker ks650.2 speakers in my 2005 Silverado. I ran all new 14ga wiring for the crossovers and speakers. They are being powered by a zx350.4 kicker amp. The amp wires are 4 ga. I have 2 rcas going to the amp, 1 for front and 1 for rear.
I have been getting a very annoying high pitch whine that increases with the throttle. I have understood that this is noise being picked up in the system somewhere. I have switched the front and rear rca inputs and still hear the whine from the front speakers. If I switch the front and rear speakers at the amp then I get the whine from the rear speakers. I thought maybe the amp was the culprit in the front channels. I then hooked all speakers to the rear inputs and I still hear the whine but not as loud. This is really starting to frustrate me as this project has been a ton of work and I am not getting the results I was hoping for.
Anybody have any advice on this situation.
