Without knowing the ins and outs of what all your running. I would say that yes a 150Amp alt is more than fine...its actually a tad bit of overkill. Also ditch the cap and Search for the "Big 3" on the forum and do that.

it is 2 power acoustics 3000bd for the subs and 2 kole audio 960 4 channel for mids and hi's. in addition to 4 tv's and a ps2

I think previous posters mis-read this. Thats 7 thousand RMS. As in 3 three zeros...

Anywayz, if that isnt a mis-print, then no, 150 amp alt will not do it for ya. You most likely would need 500+ amps alt power.

AND NO to the capacitor. Dont get one.

Oh yeah...sry. I read 700 watts RMS, and then NO 150 is not enough. You are going to need around a 250+ amp alt. and a few batteries back there to power that. God I **** at reading.

I'd go with a minimum of a 200 amp alternator and at least 2 EXTRA batteries. Making for 3 batteries total. The more, the better.

I went a little overboard when I said 500+ amps. But, i'd rather have too much then not enough. That way, you can expand, and not worry about it later.

Hell no. 7000 RMS off 150 alt. You definately need to look in to the big three. and prolly some batteries to go along with it.
