Alternator question

I have a Grand Cherokee and I was wondering, would I need a better alternator to run a 600w amp or 800w amp? I just bought a Kenwood Excelon x889 and I am trying to put a good system together here.

Also, you guys like the Hifonics TX8805 , Directed Audio Extreme 4600x or the Clarion apa4320 620W AMP.

I need to figure which amp to get tonight and nobody has looked in the amplifiers section.

200.00 but I noticed some people on here like refurbished. I will still need to my components and rear speakers also so I would like to save some money.

I just dont know which amp to use. Where can I get the right wires once I choose the amp?

just any 4 gauge from a reputable company is fine. make sure it is fused within a foot and a half of the battery, and make sure all your connections are good. if you are going to do more than one amp, i would use something bigger like 1/0 then use a t-block for distrobution, but if you are only doing a single amp, one run of 4 gauge is fine.
