Alternator pully loosens quickly! help!!!!

I got a mechman alt and when i put it in my car the pully nut comes loose quickly (a week or so).

what should i use to keep it on? lock tight of some sort? locking washer?

Loctite 242 should do the trick. You can get it at any auto parts store. More info at http://tds.loctite.com/tds5/docs/242-EN.pdf
