Alternator help !

I have a 95 2.0l ford probe it has a 4 groove pulley Im susposed to be getting a 275 amp alt for it .... I hear some people saying its too much for my car but i hear it will work as well ..... I also see a 4 groove one for dc alts for a eagle talon that is 270 amp which is basically the same pulley.... My question is will the 275 work on my car will i have to get tighter belts or should i be fine
