Alternator help

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in having stock alternators rewound. I am thinking I need somewhere in the rang of 120-140 amp output and i have a 90a stock. Does anyone know how much power you can squeeze out by having a stock rewound or should i call up someone like Ohio and just get a new HO for it?

I'm not 100% sure but I'd say you could do that. My DB Electrical is supposed to put out 250a in the same size as a stock case, and my stock is 140a.
