First of all I would like to say thanks to anyone for the help. This has probably been asked before, but i wanted to ask to get specific input regarding my car.
I have a 1997 Mercedes E320 W210.
I have installed 2 Alpine 12" Subwoofer (SWR-1222D), on to an alpine Alpine Mono Amplifier (MRP-M1000). With that i have also put in 2 Alpine 6 1/2" Components 2-Way Speakers (SPR-17S), on to an Alpine Mono Amplifier (MRP-M500).
I have been driving this car for just about 9 months, then my alternator died out on me. The stock alternator gives out 90-115amps, and im pretty sure ill be needing at least 140amps to be running this, so now my concern is if i do buy an alternator that gives out 140amps, will that blow out or damage my electrical system in my car? If so how do i stop that from happening? I have read about the "Big 3" do i need to do it as well? Should i put on a capacitor? Basically i just want a list of things that i need to do to get my car running again, and fixed so that i wont be expecting any more trouble.
Again Thanks In Advance! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
