Alternator: from 180 to 220amps Worth it for me?

I'm running now about 1700 watts with my 180 HO alt. Soon to be running 2100. At the moment i have no dimming whatsoever (big 3 and good batt.) Will swap soon my MTX 1000d for Orion 2500d. What ya think?
