Alternator Current ????

i have a 2003 chevy tahoe runinng 2 kicker 2500s ,2 hifonics 600watt amps for my highs+ 11tvs daily. do anyony knows what my stock alt 130amps puts out at idle/ max?? and will a 200 amp ho alt help my 2 kinetik 2400s,with my yellow top up front???

Ask Tim the tool man Taylor and see what he says. But I would have to say that your alternator probably put's out next to nothing at idle, and 130 amps max.

You could put a clamp meter on your alt wire to find out what it puts out. And yes, the 200 amp alt will help.

i am doing a system in a tahoe with 5000 rms in it. 2 kinetiks are going, and big 2 with a stock alt. what kind of voltage drop do you get?

too much power usage for that alt...upgrade i wouldnt be surprised if it died any time soon...and yea, 11 tv's daily?

i would definitely get at least a 300A.... 2 2500s, 2 600s, and 11 tvs will draw a SHIT TON OF CURRENT

a 130A at idle probably does somewhere between 40-70A just a guess, and max of course is 130A but you will NEVER see that from that alt.
