alternator conversion???

Nope, they may be able to bring it to 130-140 amps but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend you doing that tho, all they would probably do is rewind the stator and not change the rectifier or anything else which will significantly lower the life of the alternator. Plus your output at idle would be terrible. Save up for a dc power or mechman alt.

 
99% that it's a no... on the VAST majority of alts out there, the housing isn't large enough to hold the amount of winding required for that large of an output... 140-150 max in large majority of cases

 
Knowing the year, make, model and engine of the vehicle would help in determining if this can be done. Some can, some can't, but based on the amperage you posted I don't think your unit will be one that can be built into anything other than a 140a or so unit with poor low-speed output.
