quick question...as an alternative to the traditional big 3 which is replacing your vehicles factory battery wires with larger ones, could i just add my own 4 or 0 gauge wire from the battery to the alternator? same with the ground. the wires on my jeep look a little odd, it has a wire thats spliced in the middle of the wire that goes to some relay center or something. i can do it, but just seeing if i could save some time and just bolt on my own extra wires instead and leave the factory ones in place.

mo wire mo betta //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Actually from what ive read the current takes the path of the least resistance, so technically only the 1/0 would be used. The factory wires are left there to ease the trouble of removing them, to keep your car running should the new wiring fail, and of course, as ramos pointed out, to keep your warranty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Correct me if im wrong
