Alt Wiring, supposed to be one wire, what are these 2?

Bought a universal 200 amp alt off ebay, was supposed to be a "one wire" alt. To me I thought that meant simply the power wire output and I was gonna run that straight to my battery bank. But it came with these 2 smaller wires attached with connectors on the ends aswell, what are they for?

I planned on adding this as a second alt on the passenger side of my car, and running a positive wire to my main underhood battery and another power wire straight back to my 2 batteries in the rear. I would also have my factory alt powerring the main underhood battery.

But I dont get what these wires are for

Also, do you guys ground the alternators off there casings to the chassis?

looks like an alt for a Ford.

The wiring to for the indicator on the dash and one to "turn it on".

One is needed or it will not charge. From the way they sent it I would say they want you to use the yellow wire, But I don't know the correct way to use it on your car.

Ok Im a little stupid on the subject, but did I not receive a "1 wire" alternator

No matter what Id like to make this alt work, upgrayded you kinda lot me on what I can do here. And which wire is for stator and which is for sensor. Whatever will get this puppy cranking amperage out is what I wanna do!!

that is as "one wire" as a ford Alt comes. for a true just power wire alt you have to get a GM style.

just message the seller and ask, I assume that +12 to the yellow wire makes it work.

go to a parts store and ask them for a one wire alt for a tractor or mid/large truck

that is not a one wire alt

those are all one wire

you can swap your pulley out for another but the problem is mounting it to your alternators existing location.

those are more or less GM/Chevy single wire alts

edit, just re read, you need this to fit a nissan??

no way with the one you got off ebay

Well re-read what I wrote lol, I am using this ebay alternator ASWELL as my factory alt, this is getting mounted all by itself and I just need to know how to wire it.

The factory alt wont be touched at all

I dont want to buy another alt, I want to make this one work I just need to know what the wires do and what it takes to make this alt put out some mega amperage
