what kinda car? ho alts can be found for pretty cheap if you just look around. I've gotten both my 200a alts for less then 250 each
What's with uncles and alternators?
Mine owns Hite Parts (hiteparts.com) [Columbus, Ohio] - they remanufacture / rebuild all manner of shit like that, especially alternators. Said I could get mine wound up no problem. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I understand your concerns, truly I do. maybe it makes a difference where your alternator mounts on your motor whether or not you can have good results.lets see...rewidinding a stock alternator....adding more stators in the stock casing = eh
it's going to create more heat and in the small casing it wont be able to dissapate the heat to well.
