Alt question

So I do all this plus alternator's positive to battery positive.. that is all I am supposed to do? 4 separate wires, correct?
I don't see much use in the POS+ wire upgrade unless you have upgraded your alternator. Others will say it can't hurt to do it, and that is right if you are careful. There are many people who struggle with the need for an inline fuse for this wire. I am one in the camp that says yes, fuse it. Others like to go the easy way on everything and say it is a waste of money.

Bottom line is it is completely up to you if you have not yet upgraded your alternator. The stock wiring can handle the full rated output of your stock alternator just fine.

yes I am going to have a HO alternator (250A) under my hood so I guess I will just add wire between my alt positive and battery positive..

Also I will be fusing it with an inline fuse holder and 250A ANL fuse
