The alt i know is the source of power in any whip, but your amps see what your battery is giving it. wouldn't the battery make the biggest difference with voltage drops?
or is it that the alt (if h/o) would supply it quick enough, and with enough juice that the batt would never get a low volt. drop?
but aren't alts delayed? the kick in when needed, not at the same time as needed? (if that makes sense)
basically what im asking is, which would you see the best gain from - gettin a new h/o alt, or changing the front stock battery?
