I am tryin to figure out how to determine what alternator, as well as how many batteries, and what size batteries i will need to run a certain system. Is there any guidelines to determine these values. Maybe an equation, a chart or somethin like that. For example lets say i have a 5000 watt system, can i plug that into an equation, or some sort of outline to determine what size alternator i need, and how many batteries, or if i wanted an 8000watt system, same thing.... I know how to determine amperage draw, but like i said anything to determine the size alts and battery i will need??? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

for every 1000watts u wanna add a battery keep ur original alternator if u have money... every 3000watts u get a nother alternator and just have one battery... best thing too do is usally have 2 alternators, and about 4 batterys.
