hey guys

ok could somebody clear this up for me. isnt the only reason people upgrade their batteries is for playing when the car is off because when it is running the car runs off the alternator not battery power.

wrong, it's to give your self a power pad as well. so I guess your half right.

it's like having a water tower even though you have a water pump, if you're water pump is slow at 6pm when everyone is takign showers, it can take water out of the tower to get the job done..

same thing in the car, when the bass hits, the alternator wont be able to give the amplifiers that much power on demand like that, unless it's a small setup, then it wont matter.
