Few Wiring Questions

Hi my Rl-p is now with me safe and sound and I just have a few questions about wiring it to the amp. First does it matter what size wire I use like what gauge? I am planning on buying an amp wiring kit that come with 20 ft of 14 gauge wire would that do? Im probably going to run it off a kicker kx600.1 will this amp wiring kit do http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOL-AK4 ? I've heard good things about this company. Also it says that the rca wires have a built in turn on lead. Will this work with my alpine CDA-9847? Does it work any differently than if I just ran a separate turn on lead? Thanks

That wiring kit looks just fine. 4 guage sounds right that amp

Well the link isnt working with me so I dunno. 8 awg should be good for the amp, 4awg is what I would go with though. Now the link works, the kit looks good. You don't need 14awg though, 16awg would be fine, and 20ft seems a little overboard.
