Alriiiiiiiighty, name your NO Supplement

I just have a very high metabolism and have always had a hard time gaining weight due to my athletic nature. I do not want creatine. period.

So, what's your suggestions?
dont bulk up, when you pass 30 years old your metabolism will slow down (even slower after 40 trust me:() and the bulk will turn to fat.

if you dont add the bulk now you wont have to worry about it hanging over your jeans later in life,

stay lean for life ftmfw.

 
shit , i just started working out today. im a beginner to this shit, but im sticking to dumbbell excersizes because i dont have the room for a bench, barbell and loose weights. im also too broke to go out and buy those weight/mass gainer.

any tips/tricks to gain muscle besides eating healthy? im pretty skinny (5'7 140lbs) and have a **** fast metabolism. i plan on getting an inclining bench and a set of adjustable dumbells because the pair of 25lbs i have now get heavy quick and i feel its not doing me much benefit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

im not looking to get huge , just bulk up some (to 160lbs?) and get needed strength. i have all the time i need to do this because im on drug court for a year and stopped smoking pot because of it. i still do smoke cigarettes even though im trying to slow down.

sorry to thread jack , but i know some in-the-know people will look at this thread.

 
Gradually increase your daily food intake until you're taking in enough calories to put on some weight. 1-2#'s per week is ok for a bulking stage. Also plan on gaining some fat along with the muscle. NO quick fixes out there that are legal.

Stick to whole body workouts 2-3 times per week consisting of the major movements, no isolation crap needed.

And bulk, assuming muscle, can't turn into fat any more than fat can turn into muscle, so lets put that myth to rest...

 
stay away from cellmass, theres a lawsuit against it, you could die from it. this is what i plan on taking in a week or.

FWIW, since someone dug this from the dead, I'm no longer interested in NO. I'm sticking to protein.

When you say bulk, I hope you don't mean muscle.
Common misconception is that muscle turns to fat.

It doesn't.
I think he was insinuating that bulking up may have an adverse effect later when you're still trying to gain weight but your metabolism is no longer what it once was.

 
i started a similar thread a while back..

i just eat as much as possible and use the 60g ON Protein after i work out and the normal ON when i wake up and before i go to bed.

Seen pretty decent gains
