I have 420w @ 2 ohm. (Kicker KX 700.5)

I want nice SQ, and loudness and most important: slamming.

Okey, which one would you choose:

Kicker Comp VR (305$)

Infinity KAPPA 120.3SE (305$)

Infinity KAPPA Perfect 12.1 (466$) (very expensive.. but lets try)

They must handle 2 ohm. I now Kicker does, but more uncertain if infinity does.

Anyway, which would you choose?

those are all rediclious choices for the amount of $ you are going to spend and what you are looking for in a speaker. if you want the best speaker in that price range ($400ish) i suggest you start looking for an uberwoofer.

the problem is, you seem to have no idea what you are talking about.

start here;

http://www.soundsplinter.com - look at the RL-P. they kick major *** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif - they will be comming out with an (should be) amazing sub in the "JLW7" class shortly. called the RL-S. keep your eyes peeled.

http://www.reaudio.com - if that dosnt wet your tastebuds (look at the SE, SX, and XXX subwoofers, CALL THEM FOR PRICES!);

Wtf, what the hell do you know about what I know.

All im saying, that subwoofers aint really cheap where I live. They are in this price range.

I cant buy over internet, because the problem is that it would be very expensive to ship the subs to europe.

So thats why I want you to look at those subs above..

Actually if you are talking about the new Kickers then I would go with them. I think that for the money you would save it would be worth it. Plus those kickers get pretty loud and sound good with not too much wattage. The Infinity's I think could possibly have better SQ on average but with the right install you can make either one work to your likings so you might as well save your money and get the kicker.

hey, welcome to the Europe buddy...just got back from Germany myself...love it over there!!

and the inflated cost is in Euro, correct me if I'm wrong.......

lol, thats guy's an idiot...

in my opinion, if you want more sound quality...go for the kappa. if you want more loudness, go for the cvr...

Do some of you all yet realize he's in Europe, hence you cant really factor what is too much (other than one cost more than the other). Hell if thats what they go for thats what they go for. Anyway if you are buying one sub I think all of those are available with dual 4ohm voice coils (that will net the 2ohm load you are looking for. You've got it worded a bit wrong, speakers dont "handle" impedence loads they present them to the amplifier which must handle the load). Personally I'd fork over the cash for the Perfect, it does it all fairly well. With the other two its a toss up. Infinity for SQ, Kicker for SPL. Pick which means most to you.
