Alpine W200 and H701

Does anyone have the Alpine W200 & H701? Does the W200 control everything on the H701? Any issues with this setup? How do you like it? Thanks

if it's like the iva-d310 then yes it can control the h701 and you don't need that external controller.

It controls everything. The only thing you can't do without the dedicated controller is the automatic time correction. Manual is better, anyway. I have the W200, and have already paid for the 701, but am still waiting on it to come in. It's been 3 freaking weeks.

My dealer called Alpine today to ask about the H701 they ordered for me 3 weeks ago. They said they are expecting a shipment to send out at the end of June, but that it won't even be enough to fill all of the back orders. I just hope my order has been in line long enough. This sucks.
