Shitty head unit

I think i have a shitty head unit(boss) because i can change the bass controls, but i steal dont really hear any bass. any answers to this or is the head unit just that shitty?

I equate Boss with Pyramid or Roadmaster.

Everyone I have ever know that had one of their amps ended up losing one channel or more within the first six months of ownership.

One fella I knew had one their HUs and the display went out completely in the second month he had it.

Another fella I knew ran a Boss graphic EQ and the RCA outputs took a dump notl ong after he bought it.

(Begin to see a pattern here?)

Boss does ****. They make there HU's look kinda cool and make you think they have great functions but in all said and done, they ****.

yeah there's no type of bass from the headunit i thought about hooking up an eq tho, but it really doesn't matter becuz i have the bass from my 12's. i do have some 7.2 pyramid tv's and the display is garbage. its like looking a a cell phone from the side

The only Pyramid product I have ever used with any degree of success is their 110vac to 12vdc converters. Those work well and last forever. Their actual audio gear, however, leaves much to be desired...

If I'm not mistaken, they are VERY close to TrippLite's design, really **** good and really **** cheap.
