ALPINE vs RE vs ORION, GOT 15s?

well, we juss did a test on these subs. the RE SX and ORION H2 and the ALPINE TYPE R //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif .

The vehicle was an 01 4dr chevy blazer and box was 4cu tuned 2 around 38hz 4 4'' aeroports. ALL subs gettin around 1400-1500w

METER was an TL sensor MECA style in the kick.

RE SX= 148.5@51hz

ALPINE TYPE R= 148.5@45hz(has atleast another .5-1db left in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

orion H2=146.5@45hz

2 orion 15H2=148.5@44hz 3cu each 75sq of port tuned 2 30hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

out of all the subs i was really impressed wit the type R this is my new fav sub. soon ill have 2 15Rs in 8cu tuned 2 30-35hz. this will be an insane daily i promise u. and will still pull over a 150@mid to low 40s.

out of them all the type R and H2 sounded the best but the type r was the deepest and tightest sound'n. this sub is awesome believe me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif the SX on the other had wasnt takin the power for daily. burps it takes a beatin. but i cant finish a whole song wit it at the volume i like my music played. even at low volume for a long period of time it juss stinks.not bashing at all, great sub, but juss not my taste. i want sumthin that be awesome daily. sq and spl and the type R is that sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

the type X isn't loud, simply put.

12 type R is louder than a 12 type X... the R handles way the hell more for burps but the X handles a little more over a long period of time - X does NOTHING with the power though. Sounds amazing, will give it that, but the R sounds pretty dam good too.

**** i still can't believe that in that situation u put the subs in...that the Type R won out over RE...i know RE isn't god...but since when does anyone put Alpine over RE for subs? especially not a type x but a type r...that is pretty awesome though...
