Okay, it is dependant on the instal, (box and car.) But I would say yes, just because the L5's are some extreme SPL subs, as are the L7's. And the Type X is known to be primarily a SQ sub, IMO it does not get very loud.

Also, why not use the Orion 1200D on the L5? It would blow you away on that amp (with gains low //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif)...
