Alpine Vs. Alpine

for one 12" Alpine Type R 1222D,

would the:

Alpine MRP M650

or

Alpine MRP M850

which one would be a better combo with the sub?

friend has them, new in box, mrp m650 for $150 and MRP M850 for 200... he needs money so i want to help him out, and i need a new amp

an mrd m1005 would be a good amp as well..

m805. the R's love power. i have (2) 10" and 1200 wrms is just not enough

Yes they do love power. I run that MRP M-650 in my Escape and it pounds very good. I may not be as big a thumper as some people around here, but that is a good combo. You wont go wrong with either of those Alpine amps. They sound good!

i just installed that sub with the 650 and it sounds good but it definentaly doesn't hit as hard as it could
