whats so great about it? Trying to figure out if it will fit my box. =) Im very very very tight on space.

In all fairness, I've ran a search on more then one occasion to try to find the T/S specs of the Type-R's and was unable to find it.

hwo tight are we talkin? and what kinda car is it...because depending on if ur box is ported or sealed ur gonna need anywhere from 1-2 cu. of air space...

Try alpines website and tech corner...i'm sure they have a listing of the owners manuals complete with appropraite spec sheets.

18.2 mm Xmax, 6.8" mounting depth.

Manual for my 1242 was still on my desk.
