Alpine type-R or kicker L7 which one would YOU buy???

Actually no competiton here between R and L7. I mean Type-X and L7

they say L7 is loud but not clean.

what about aline Type-X ? is it clean.

12" L7 is 750W Rms and Type-R is 1000W Rms

So which one would YOU buy?

Yeah L7 is better than R-type but what about X-type.

If you're talking about both being 12s then, the type-r is rated at 500 rms not 1000. But most people say they can take a lot more.

The x's are pretty clean, personally I would just go with L7 and run the 750 watts, with something like the Kicker 750.1

There is a new version of the type X out. If you can get that you should. The X will sound better then the L7 no competition there. To get the X loud you need at least 1500wrms

Agreed, they are power hungry, I think the L7 can out bump it, but as far as clean bass the x will be better, but it's what you want.

I think the L7 will be louder but X will sound more clear...
