Alpine SWX-1243D Or Boston SPG555

I currently have and Alpine Type R 12 in a ported 2 cube 34 herz Box. Would you recommend the Alpine SWX-1243D Or Boston SPG555 for a SQ sub that will get as loud as my type R.

I will most likely be using an Alpine mrp-1000 amp to power the Sub that I get.

that type x would be fine on that mrp-1000 but could take more. You can get it just as loud as your type-r but it will sound 10 times better and hit the lows really well. Let me know if you're interested in a Type-X, as I have one I may be willing to sell....

they type X will sound a lot cleaner, and the boston is more of an sq sub then the x.

type R's will get louder then the X's

I would get the boston... I have 2 10 G5's with GTR's and they get loud and they are CLEAN. The SPG is supposed to be the spl one of the bunch

OK, well I haven't bought an amp yet. I can get an amp with 1200 or more watts if needed.

Is it new? Also does anyone else have any input on the Type X or Boston SPG555

the boston gets loud my buddies got 2 in a tahoe in a farely small box and it hits pretty **** loud
