the store i work at carries a good amount of alpine stuff and a while back we put an alpine plate amp in the showroom, and MAN, it is AMAZING, it's small, very powerful, very efficient and sounds amazing. We hooked up the 4 channel and compared it to the mcintosh mcc404 amp, which is more than double the size, and price, and also puts out 100w x 4 vs. alpines 150w x 4. And I highly recomend the alpine, some ppl from work said it sounds better than the mcintosh amp, but in my opinion being that the alpine retails for $750 vs. McIntosh for $1800-$2200, i would hands down choose the alpine pdx plate amp. So if you are in the market for new high end amps, i highly recomemd taking a look at them and see if you can find somewhere that has one hooked up so that you can hear it.

just my 2 cents, hope if helps someone

unfortunately i can't. for personal use i get the most ridiculous discount from alpine, like WAY below ebay prices. so if anybody works at an alpine authorized dealer u should call up ur rep and tell them u want an amp

Have you ever had problems with the fuses blowing? I think toxic tuan was doing a vehicle using the 1.1000 alpine stackables and he had a problem with the fuses blowing at full output. I think he ended up switching to a IA 20.1.

not yet, haven't installed too many because we just figured out how good they are, so now that we have heard them and stuff we can recommend them to customers now honestly
