Ohms Question

Can I use an Alpine MRP-F450 to power (2) EU-700's that are 2ohms. The amp is bridged into 4 ohms 200w x 2, but the EU's are 2ohms.

MRP-F450

Per channel into 4 ohms: 70W x 4

Per channel into 2 ohms: 100W x 4

Brigded 4 ohms: 200W x 2

Just run the subs on two of the channels. Use the other two channels for your main speakers or leave them open.

If you run the amp two ohm bridged, it will more than likely shut down or be damaged.

the EU's are 2ohms.

Per channel into 2 ohms: 100W x 4

yes. you will get 100W per speaker. 2 channels will be unused.
