Alpine SPX-17PRO speakers

Now I was wondering if anyone has heard these in person and a guy told me he would sell them to me 325 flat but I was wondering what other components out there that are comparable and I'm sure alot of you guys on here can help me in my decision making. If theres a pair thats like 50 bucks more that are better all around then ill get those or 50 bucks cheaper and as good or better ill look into those. Thanks

I'd say in the 300~ price range they are your best bet. They have a VERY flexible passive crossover. I sold my BNIB Pro's for 290 shipped a few months back.

I have the X ref's and Im liking them alot.I really like the tweeter.Plays loud and clear.I would have loved to hear the Pros.

i have the older version, spx-177r, and while i absolutely love them they are lacking in midbass response. can't bet the tweets though.
