Alpine SPR 135's...slope setting

New to these components and im not sure what to set the slope at. i have between 0db and -10db by 2db increments..what should i set them at?

Slop for the crossover? For the low pass mid bass or high pass tweeter? Is it a tweeter auttenation?

i believe its tweeter attenuation.

Ah, I though so. What kind of car is it? Going in the doors or kick pannels? How far away is the tweeter going to be from the midbass?

Basically just set it 0db, and if the tweets are too loud or bright, set it down a noch or two and go from there.
