Alpine speakers

I heard Boston rally 6 inch splits against Alpine 6 inchers and the difference was amazing they can handle so much more power, they are are crazy.. I was thinking all alpine also but when i heard those splits i was stunned.. Go out and find some i highly recommend its worth a look.

I am running all Alpine:

Head Unit CDA-7995, this unit is running my Type S 6/9's and my Type S 5 1/4 in my doors.

Alpine MRD-M500 AMP is running my Alpine R 15. The amp runs the R15 nicely if all the settings are set right.

Depending on what head unit you are running you may be able to run your speakers off the head. I am running my 6/9's and my 5 1/4 off of my head.

defiantely get the type R Comps, and amp them suckers!! you MUST amp to make them sound good. i have type S coaxials all around, and im not satisfied running them off of the HU. I need to buy a profile amp to power them

im planning to go all alpine also, 2 type r 12 inch subs with an american bass of rf aor alpine amp then an alpine cda 9827 hu and an rf 4 channel 70 watts a channel amp to power 2 6x9's and 2 5 1/4 components . all type r. my bose system just aint cutting it muhahahah. http://www.etronics.com sells the alpine type r speakers for the best price on the web same for the the type r subs. http://www.hookedontronics.com has the best price for the cda 9827 hu, http://www.cbrstereo.com has the rockford fosgate power 4 channel amp for the best price. also http://www.hookedontronics.com has the 1000 watt 4 gauge monstercable amp install kit the cheapest. thats basically my speaker system stuff that i will be buying from. i did alot of research and those sites for their prices are the cheapest and well if they arent they are then choosen from the most trusted sites with them for cheap.

Those speakers must get pretty loud considering how much power they're getting. I mean shit, the 7995 doesn't even have an internal amplifier. :thumbsdow
