Alpine Set-up Help????

I am leaning on going this route. Please give your opinions.

Alpine DVA-9965

Alpine PXA-C701 (would this be ok even if the unit can control the H701)

Alpine PXA-H701

I have a double din area to fill and this is why I was wainting to use the Controler.

I will not be setting up the suv for Video so would it be worth it to go with the Alpine Center Channel instead of the Alpine seperate controler for the H701. The Center would be set high up on the dash.

Polk SR5250 or Focal K2P's (Front)

Polk or Focal 5 1/4 (Back)

Amp (One of these) Mcintosh MCC404M, Focal 4ch or PDX 4.150

Sounds good, I would skip the controller, and skip the center channel if you aren't going to do video.

If you've never used the controller, I could agree. But once you get used to the controller, it's hard to go back to the H/U!! I know many people, and I'm getting better at it, that can tune on the fly with the controller in their lap!!

As for the op, as long as you use a unit with an optical output, the 701 is a great tuning piece.
