alpine R box specs

I am trying to put my alpine R in a better box than the one i have it in. I have it in a standard ported box from best buy in my celica. I was trying to go with an sealed box to save space and help out with those low notes, but i do not want to sacrafice how hard it would hit in an ported box. So im looking for the exact/or best amt. of cubic feet i could put my sub. in to maximize its sound output.

search type r. a lot of info on these subs are on this board. iirc it was around 2.5 cubes tuned to 32-35 hz.

i have my one 12'' type R in an rsx. 2.7 cubes@32 hz. i still have the box plans if you want them, just om me. both our cars are similar so im sure the dimensions will fit your trunk, but i must warn you it takes up a good 75% on my trunk.
