Alpine R 10inch Box

I am getting 2 10inch alpine r's they are going to be powered by a cadence TXA-1000D amp.

I was wondering what kind of box I would need, I am listening to mostly Metal/Hardcore so I want the subs to punch along with the bass drum, but also sound good with bass drops.

I think a Sealed Enclosure is ok I dont think a ported box is needed (if you think so please explain?)

What sized enclosure for these speakers do you think would be necessary I was thinking of going with .65 per speaker.

Alpine spec's for the 10"-R sealed is .5-.8^3ft, so .65^3ft net will be perfect. With the style music you like, sealed maybe your best bet. Put the power to them and they will hit just fine.

I would think a relatively smaller sealed box would give you more of the punch you are looking for. 0.65 ft^3 per speaker sounds pretty good, and won't take up tons of room as well.
