Alpine question need help on HU.

Is the CDA-9885 basicly the same as the CDA-9857? I want to be able to use my blue tooth phone, but do not want to use the 100BT adapter to my 9857, I hears it sucks!

If I use the 9885, it uses the new 300BT adapter. I am using the 701 with my 9857, will the 9885 sound the same? Also should I wait for the 9887? Being that the 9887 has all the EQ stuff, wouldnt I be wasting all that stuff by using the 701 with 9887?

By using the 701, does that mean I do not need a HU with all the EQ/Time/sound processor alignment stuff (the 701 has all that)?
