Ok..I am keeping my factory radio and am trying to determine the best setup for integration and processing. I will be using this setup:
PG ZX475 ti running to an Alpine Type X 6.5 component set
PG ZX600ti running to a 10'' built by ssackett
My choices are:
1. Alpine PXE-650 to handle line out conversion and all processing
2. Audiocontrol LC6 for line out, EQL for equalization and DXS for crossovers and signal separation.
I know the Alpine will do more in the way of summing, time alignment and autoeq. The only drawback is that I have heard they lack in low end output. The audiocontrol would be more work to install and probably lead to a messier setup but I know audiocontrol equipment is proven.
I would also be open to a 3sixty.2 if I could find one for a decent price.
