Hey guys

I am trying to find a very small amp to power my system, more of a SQ system than a SPL system. System consists of an alpine 9857 HU, CDT 6.5" seperates up front, and a Rockford P3S 12" sub (DVC 4 ohm) in a special enclosure designed to be the false floor on a mini cooper.

Here's the rub - the amp rack is very small, 13.5 * 11 * 2.5 I am trying to find an amp that I can use to fit this without running two amps and spending a mint. I think the PDX 4.150 can do this, with the 2nd set of outs bridged to get about 300W into 2 ohms for the sub. Anyone have experience with this? I'd like to hear input from someone before I commit. I have read one review that said the low end response was subpar, but I was wondering if anyone had real life experience with this config.

If this doesn't work, I will probably run a small mono amp for the sub in the rack and hide a 2 channel PDX somewhere in the car.

Thanks!
