if spending up to $350, go with alpine, from $350 to $800 go with pioneer, anything over that much just go and see what you like, I'd love to have a alpine F1 but...

I have a 9825 and a DEH-P960MP both, and the alpine is great for the price, but you have to buy a $1000+ alpine to compete with the pioneer. Just my 2 cents

i replaced an eclipse 8455 with a alpine 9853 and i am much happier now.
