Alpine or Kicker.....I'm getting help this time...

Hey guys I'm sitting on Kicker L7's or Alpine Type R's. I have 2 boxes that are cut out for round 12" speakers so if I buy the L7's I wanna be sure. I see that the L7's are a total of 14 inches and are 150 rms watts more but I've heard a lot of good things about the type R's.

I am purchasing 2 of whatever I decide because I'm giving one to my sister. Both are pretty close in price so I'm turning to the experts to decide. However I don't want to cut my enclosures to a square unless I'm sure about it.

Thanks for all good input. F***k all the haters who suggest searches, I've read all of them and as much as people get off subject.......I'd rather ask myself.

I think they're actually rated 250W more.. If you feel that your current enclosure is sufficient in volume, you can always use CVX's. They're pretty much a round L7. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

A good suggestion! And usually a smidge cheaper than the L7's, too.
