Alpine MRV-F450 question

I just hooked this amplifier up in my 2003 Ranger. When I turn on my radio, it does fine at really low volumes, but if I start to increase the volume to anything near 15 (out of 50 or so), the protection circuitry kicks in. Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

I have it connected to 4-60W 4ohm speakers and 2-150W (Peak) 4 ohm subs wired in series. Using 8 gauge wire for power and ground to amp. Using 12 gauge wire for subs. Using 14 gauge wire for the speakers.

If you need to know anything else, let me know.

Nevermind. There was a short in one of the speakers. All good now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
