alpine mrv-f345 in protect

ya the last 2 days my 4 channel has been in protect alot. yesterday morning i was blasting my sub mrv-m1005 amp on then the 4 channel shut off for a few hours later that night it went back on then shut off but went back on 5 min later. this morning my amp turned off again went back on for 3 min then shut off. what is causing this?
