The stereo system is going in my restored 1965 Ford Mustang. I already have 2 Alpine Type-X 10" subs (although I may only use one in the car) and SPX-17REF components. I just picked up an Alpine MPR-F250 sub to run the components and want a matching amp for cosmetic reasons. The reason that I went with these amps is because that match the style of the valve covers and air cleaner on my motor. I want the same look that is under my hood also in my trunk.
This car is for both show and go...so form is just as important as function. The motor is a 347 ci stroker putting out 425 HP. Most times I would prefer to listen to the sound of the exhaust over the stereo. However, for it is nice to have a decent sound system for those long trips to shows!
