WTB Massive Audio Components

I'm getting several different price quotes on a set of components. Local dealer wants $260 a pair. Sonic Electronics wants $160 a pair. Another dealer on this forum quoted me $115 shipped. I just don't want to get a blown or defective set of speakers w/o a return or some kind of warranty.

Sonic Electronix is $169, and they have been out of stock for 6 months and will not be getting them because the new model 6x is out.. at a steeper price.

Local dealer is going with map and will provide you with local support if that is what you are looking for..

And anyone quoting you $115 shipped doesnt sound remotely close to being a business.. Sorry, but i stock them, and he cant buy them and eat shipping and not lose money, (sorry but if your a business willing to lose money, you wont stay in business) but hey if hes willing to do so, then my all means jump on that deal, but it sure as hell sounds fishy... or maybe he just cant move his stock..

I have a set of BNIB RK6's for $170 shipped
The RK6 is a great set of comps with great midbass.. IF you can fit them in a door without having to cut them all up or modify rings for them... Thats the only issue with those.

How are the RK6's as far as SQ? I'm sure they are loud as hell. I think I have 3" mounting depth w/o a spacer in my 01 Impala.
ive installed several sets of both, with the CK 5:1 over the RK.. I personally prefer the sq of the ck6, but others feel the other way.. but the RK will have a better midbass, and can take much more power.

their warranty is 1 year if installed by a authorized dealer or 90 days...

I'm looking for SQ with the ability to play loud as well. I've heard of CDT audio and checked out the website as well as read up on there background and what they do. I'm just not sure If true SQ components play loud as well. I would imagine they do.

The last pair of components I have heard/owned were Alpine Type R's back in 2005. That had a good "loud" volume and were the clearest speakers I have heard. I know I'm probably deprived of the sound of clear audio.
