Alpine MRP M1000 vs Sundown SAE 1200D

then get the sae1200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif unless you need the final load at 2 ohm get the alpine
omgg
read the post dude, he hasnt bought subs yet...he wants to start with the amp...
no shit retard?it makes his sub choices more open duh.....

so why would he need the final load at 2 ohms, if he hasnt gotten subs yet and you knew this???

Sundown will walk over the Alpine any day, also you should expect 1500+ out of the 1200. VERY underrated amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

testing showed..
1730 RMS with IMP rise from 1 ohm to 2.01 ohms and voltage at 12.6

so all in all it did 1700 rms at 2 ohms at 12.6 volts? huh? hehe
but he'll never see that so i dont understand why everyone keeps bringing this up. On music he'll never see it, in a daily system he will never see it so its irrelavent. SAE might do around 1300+ on a DAILY system @ 1 ohm but anymore than that is just over-exaggerating. and those 1700 watt tests all blew the fuses because the amp IS NOT designed to push that much and it will not handle it.

The SAE is one of the best 1200 watt amps on the market.

Well, just guessing...

Since this guys a newb, he will most likely go with mainstream subs. We all know that most mainstream companies make SVC subs. This guy could just be going with 2 SVC 4ohm subs. Or 1 DVC 4 ohm sub...

that's just guessing. Not sticking up for anyone.

EDIT: I say this b/c with a SAE 1200d doesnt seem like a lot of power, so I figure he's not trying to be loud, just want some bass. Basically all he needs is 2 SVC 4ohm or 1 DVC 4 ohm sub. Which is the main types of subs you see in mainstream today.
