Alpine MRP-M1000 VS Memphis 16-PR1.1000?

Ok so im looking for the best 1000 watt amp to power 2 12 inch alpine type r's(2ohm's each)

So would you go with the Alpine MRP-M1000 or the Memphis 16-PR1.1000?

Also i am going to be buying the used amp on online, so what is the average( or the price you would pay) price for each of the amps used online from craglist or ebay?

I plan on using a ported box and i listen to rap most of the time, if that effects which one would be better for me. And i live in metro detroit.

And one last thing i am under a tight budget so that may factor in which one i end up geting.

the memphis does its damage at 1 ohm,so the alpine

That Alpine is a solid amp. I had the MRP-M500 and loved it.

i have 2 type rs with an alpine pdx 1000.1 and that would be the best amp for ypu 2 get if you have the money
